A cow clambered into a neighbours garden a jumped into a swimming pool during a heat wave in Brazil.
With temperatures approaching 40c, the cow got over a fence a went straight to the pool of the home in Taubate.
The owner of the house told SPTV: "I heard a noise and ran outside I couldn't believe my eyes! There was a cow in the swimming pool!"
The woman called the fire brigade to help heave the unwanted guest out of the pool.
One of the firemen called out to this absurd scene told us this: "It was the weirdest job we've ever come across in the 20 years I've been in the fire service!"

The owner of the pool said, "I heard a huge splash and a distraught mooing coming from the garden. I rushed out and to my astonishment I saw a huge Brahmin cow thrashing about in my swimming pool. It's a new pool too and had only been in working order for two weeks. I was alone at the house so I had to call the emergency services. They were astonished but came at once. "
The emergency services stated that the cow in the pool was the most difficult and bizarre problem that they had ever faced, however they were delighted and relieved that the rescue was a success.
